🥇 Let’s Win Your Draft This Weekend

Your last-minute draft edge, plus a peek at what's coming in-season.

Happy Friday, and happy Labor Day Weekend!

Welcome to the final weekend of fantasy football drafts. Just 5 full more days to get your draft in before WEEK 1 OF NFL ACTION!

I love draft season, I’ll miss finding values with every one of you, but I’m ready to watch some NFL football.

Next week this newsletter transitions to weekly in-season content still to be sent on Fridays. We’ll react to TNF, highlight waiver additions still largely available, and talk some flex-able players for your Sunday lineups.

Until then, back to draft domination.

📝 Draft Day Cheat Sheet

Another week, another update to my draft cheat sheet - JuiceSheets!

These sheets pair nicely with my Abusing Draft Rankings as it includes projections and a value column for Standard, Half PPR and PPR scoring on ESPN, Sleeper and Yahoo. Check it out as a tool to use as you draft.

🏷️ This Week’s Draft Values

Every week I’ll highlight draft values found in draft rooms, primarily using my Abusing Draft Rankings tool to help find these players.

CAR WR Jalen Coker - All Sites

With the last pick in your drafts on all sites, Jalen Coker will be available. With Adam Thielen being traded out of Carolina and plenty of hype pieces recently popping up around Coker, there’s not many better dart throws to take in the later rounds of your draft. Buy in this weekend.

SEA RB Zach Charbonnet - ESPN

Draft room rank: RB43 | Expert rank: RB31
Landmine Score: 3.6

I am once again championing Charbonnet in your ESPN drafts. Charbonnet is still a massive value in ESPN draft rooms, and it only looks better as he continues to impress in camp and preseason. Ken Walker is still the lead RB in Seattle, but as he is currently nursing a foot injury (though he is back at practice!) and Charbonnet looks better with each day, it’s becoming more likely that this will be more of a timeshare than initially expected. Draft Charbonnet!!!

SF WR Ricky Pearsall - Sleeper

Draft room rank: WR47 | Expert rank: WR37
Landmine Score: 4.5

For mid-round WRs, Pearsall is one of my absolute favorites and can be drafted at a value. He is currently being drafted in the early ninth but ranked to be taken in the seventh and that is where I am slamming the draft button on Pearsall.

New for 2025: Landmine Score - It’s a 0-10 scale that rates how risky a player is in your draft room - based on how much earlier they’re ranked on your platform versus expert consensus.

Most players land somewhere in the 5-6 range. A score of 10 means they’re being pushed way up the board and you’re probably walking into a trap. A 0? That’s a straight-up steal.
