Welcome to preseason kickoff, where things begin to get more real. Fantast drafts are popping up on the calendars, football is on the TV regularly, Brandon Aiyuk is likely being traded. Things feel right.

Whether your drafts are this weekend or in a month from now, it’s always a good time to know some draft values.

🏷️ This Week’s Draft Values

Every week I’ll highlight draft values found in draft rooms, primarily using my Abusing Draft Rankings tool to help find these players.

Obviously right now it’s too early to take advantage of these values, unless you’re drafting this weekend! It’s still a massive benefit to keep an eye on both ADP trends (listed in the next section) and consistent discrepancies between ADP and expert ranks.

WR Christian Kirk - ESPN

Draft room rank: 76 | Expert rank: 49

FantasyPros ECR has Christian Kirk as the WR26 while ESPN draft rooms have him as the WR35. on top of being a massive value when looking at these numbers, Kirk also enters a season where he can be the true WR1 again for the Jaguars now that Calvin Ridley is out of the picture. Count me in at this discount.

WR Diontae Johnson – Sleeper

Draft room rank: 92 | Expert rank: 73

He may not be the sexiest pick, but you can do much worse than a player who will be the primary target on the offense in the 8th round. With a two round discount on Johnson, it’s hard not to get on board.

WR Jaylen Waddle – Sleeper & Yahoo

Draft room rank: 33-34 | Expert rank: 26

It’s not a steep value, but Waddle is a guy I’m targeting this season in drafts and draft rooms appear to be showing him off later than I’d pick him. There’s also a steady drumbeat from experts on a Waddle hype train that could slowly cause his ADP to rise as the season nears, so buy in soon.
