🥇 Welcome back to the bye week stink fest

Odds are your whole team is on bye this week. Again.

Happy Thursday!

As we enter week 13, we have SIX teams that are on a bye week this week. SIX TEAMS!!!

It’s as if the NFL doesn’t know that our fantasy teams are still fighting for a fantasy playoff spot.

But that’s not true, we all have the first seed already clinched… right?

Let’s talk some fantasy football!

In this week’s newsletter:

  • 📊 Weekly rankings

  • 🤑 Week 13 best bets

  • 💥 Week 13 Booms and Busts

📊 Week Thirteen Rankings Highlights

Allow me to highlight a few players I may be ranking higher than other experts, or some players I’m just excited to see play this upcoming week.

Feel free to check out my full weekly rankings at the link below!

🐏 Kyren Williams - RB2
The man scores 38+ PPR points in his return from injury and I’m just expected to not rank him top-3??? I expect Williams to find the end zone again this weekend, potentially multiple times, against a Cleveland Browns team that has been weakening to opposing RBs.

🧀 Jayden Reed - WR27
It’s a tough matchup for Packers WRs, but this is a game against the Chiefs that this team will need to rely on this passing attack. Reed has three straight weeks of 15+ PPR fantasy points.

🤑 Week Thirteen Best Bets

Let’s talk some bets. I’ll highlight a few of our favorite NFL lines at the time of writing each week moving forward here!

Last week the posted picks in this newsletter were 2-0. Let’s repeat it again this week!

You can also follow our other recommended bets on Sharpz - a new social media for sports bettors! Connects to all the major sportsbooks - DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, etc. - and keep track of not only your bets but your friends as well. All for FREE.

🐎 DEN +3.5 vs. HOU
This may be the shootout of the week, surprisingly. Denver is on a hot streak and I don’t expect them to go down without a fight, or even potentially a win. the 3.5 line feels generous and I’m expecting it to be closer.

⚡ LAC -5.5 vs. NE
Can New England even score? The Chargers so badly need a get-right game and the Patriots are in a downward spiral offensively. I think the Chargers take this game with ease and a 5.5 line is generous.

💥 Week Thirteen Booms and Busts 👎

Start your studs.

That being said, let’s highlight some players I’m expecting some big weeks from and a few I’m pretty low on. This isn’t necessarily a start/sit column, but more so some players I expect a bigger week from and some players I’m not excited about.

💥 RB Devin Singletary, Texans (vs. Broncos)
This is Singletary’s backfield. Last week, Dameon Pierce returned from his ankle injury and played just 18% of snaps with six total opportunities. This Broncos defense has allowed the most schedule-adjusted PPR points to opposing running backs this season. Play Singletary where you can.

👎 RB Brian Robinson, Commanders (vs. Dolphins)
Robinson had a quiet game on Thanksgiving, scoring only 8.4 PPR points, his lowest since Week 7. With Gibson back, his involvement in the passing game decreased, and facing the Dolphins' strong defense in Week 13, he's looking at another low-scoring performance this week.

💥 WR Rashee Rice, Chiefs (vs. Packers)
Rice finally had his breakout game last week with eight catches for 107 yards and a TD. This week against the Packers, who have allowed three WRs to score at least 14.5 PPR points in the past two games, Rice is worth a start in all leagues.

👎 WR Tyler Lockett, Seahawks (vs. Cowboys) - TNF GAME!!!
Yuck. Lockett's recent inconsistency makes him a risky start option this week against Dallas. Facing the Cowboys, ranked top-3 in fewest points allowed to WRs, Lockett should be started with caution this week.

Thank you for tuning in, let’s get a W this week 🫡
