🥇 Draft Room Gaps You Can Still Exploit
The ADP edge hasn’t closed yet. Take advantage this weekend.

Happy Friday!
Last year, I paused this newsletter once draft season wrapped as I was preparing for the arrival of my son (his name is Pax and he is a beautiful boy).
This year, I’m considering keeping the momentum going into the NFL season: weekly rankings, boom/bust calls, point out some streamer options, and quick takeaways from the previous week.
But I get it, not everyone wants in-season content. If you’d prefer to only hear from me during draft season, just click below and I’ll make sure to keep your inbox quiet until next summer.
The button just takes you to the newsletter home page, but it allows me to document your interest. Thank you in advance!
Back to draft domination.

🥇 QB Draft Rankings
🏷️ This Week’s Draft Values
Every week I’ll highlight draft values found in draft rooms, primarily using my Abusing Draft Rankings tool to help find these players.
SEA RB Zach Charbonnet - ESPN
Draft room rank: RB45 | Expert rank: RB34
Landmine Score: 3.8
No, I did not forget to update this section of the newsletter from last week. Charbonnet is still a massive value in ESPN draft rooms, and it only looks better as he continues to impress in camp and preseason. Ken Walker is still the lead RB in Seattle, but as he is currently nursing a foot injury (though he is back at practice!) and Charbonnet looks better with each day, it’s becoming more likely that this will be more of a timeshare than initially expected. Draft Charbonnet!!!
CAR WR Tetairoa McMillan - ESPN
Draft room rank: WR33 | Expert rank: WR24
Landmine Score: 5.1
Draft rooms appear to be lagging behind the hype that experts are pumping out on Tetairoa McMillan. He’s presently in line to be the alpha WR in Carolina and can be drafted 16 spots later in ESPN draft rooms than where experts have him ranked. This will most likely shift closer to expert rankings after this weekend as other draft rooms have raised McMillan in ranks as well in recent weeks.
WAS RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt - Sleeper & Yahoo
Draft room rank: RB57/RB60 | Expert rank: RB46
Landmine Score: 1.9/2.0
Of course he’s still a value. If you’ve been around the fantasy football space at all this week, you’ve seen all sorts of hype on Jacory Croskey-Merritt, or Bill as he likes to be called. Right now his best value can be found in Sleeper draft rooms as he is ranked 45 spots later in Sleeper and Yahoo draft rooms than he is ranked by experts. Buy in on him everywhere as a super late round value, but feel even better about getting him later in Sleeper and Yahoo drafts this weekend.
DEN WR Courtland Sutton - Yahoo
Draft room rank: WR30 | Expert rank: WR22
Landmine Score: 5.0
I’m highlighting Courtland Sutton, but the same exact value can be found for CHI WR DJ Moore on Yahoo - both wide receivers are being ranked in Yahoo draft rooms 8 spots later in positional rankings than they are ranked by experts. Both WRs can be drafted over a full round later than ranked on Yahoo in the late fifth round. Great values to be found in these early rounds!
New for 2025: Landmine Score - It’s a 0-10 scale that rates how risky a player is in your draft room - based on how much earlier they’re ranked on your platform versus expert consensus.
Most players land somewhere in the 5-6 range. A score of 10 means they’re being pushed way up the board and you’re probably walking into a trap. A 0? That’s a straight-up steal.

📝 Draft Day Cheat Sheet
Another week, another update to my draft cheat sheet - JuiceSheets!
These sheets pair nicely with my Abusing Draft Rankings as it includes projections and a value column for Standard, Half PPR and PPR scoring on ESPN, Sleeper and Yahoo. Check it out as a tool to use as you draft.
