🥇 Highlighting potential fantasy league winners

Show me your league winners, I need to see them!

Happy Thursday!

Oh boy, it’s a tough bye week hitting us this week, The Eagles, Chiefs, Dolphins and the Rams. Those are some HEAVY hitters in the fantasy landscape. More specifically, we’re without the following players:

QB: Hurts (QB2), Mahomes (QB3), Tagovailoa (QB5)
RB: Mostert (RB2), Swift (RB10), Pacheco (RB13)
WR: Hill (WR1), Brown (WR2), Nacua (WR8)
TE: Kelce (TE1)

Here’s to getting some wins without these studs.

Let’s talk some fantasy football!

🏆 Potential League Winners

As we enter into Week 10 of this fantasy football season, it's time to set our sights on potential league winners. While the season's initial chapters were important, the final push is where champions are made. In this section, we'll uncover the players poised for a standout performance in the coming weeks.

These player highlights will have a heavy emphasis on fantasy playoff schedules as well as paths to success if they aren’t currently seeing any.

🏆 WR Devonta Smith, Eagles
With Goedert expected to miss a substantial amount of time, Smith is in line for plenty more targets. We saw this happen last season when Goedert went down! DeVonta Smith’s target shares over the last two years in Philly:
- With Dallas Goedert: 23%
- Without Dallas Goedert: 30%

🏆 TE TJ Hockenson, Vikings
I’ll keep this one brief: Joshua Dobbs has targeted the TE position the second-most in the NFL up to this point. Sure, Justin Jefferson is expected to return to the lineup soon in Minnesota, but the targets will still be there for Hockenson and I’m buying that volume.

🏆 RB D’Andre Swift, Eagles
Swift has the third-easiest playoff fantasy football schedule for running backs, but the top two are Austin Ekeler and Bijan Robinson (although Arthur Smith is currently being the league’s best fantasy defense against Robinson). Looking super ahead his schedule is:
Week 15: Seahawks (8th-most fantasy points allowed to RBs)
Week 16: Cardinals (6th-most)
Week 17: Giants (3rd-most)

🏆 Seattle Seahawks Wide Receivers
I can’t help but put all three of them on here: DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. For the remainder of the season, the Seahawks have the 5th easiest WR schedule in fantasy football. In the fantasy playoffs, the Seahawks have the absolute best WR schedule:
Week 15: Eagles (2nd-most fantasy points allowed to WRs)
Week 16: Titans (5th-most)
Week 17: Steelers (4th-most)

🤑 Week Ten Best Bets

Let’s talk some bets. I’ll highlight a few of our favorite NFL lines at the time of writing each week moving forward here!

🐦 ARI +1.5 vs. ATL
Both Kyler Murray AND James Conner are set to return this week. I don’t expect either to be limited or they wouldn’t be out there, so give me their victory over the flailing Falcons.

🪓 MIN ML vs. NO
The Josh Dobbs experience is not stopping this week. We believe the Vikings are in a spot to get the job done at home against the Saints.

💥 Week Ten Booms and Busts 👎

Start your studs.

That being said, let’s highlight some players I’m expecting some big weeks from and a few I’m pretty low on. This isn’t necessarily a start/sit column, but more so some players I expect a bigger week from and some players I’m not excited about.

💥 RB Javonte Williams, Broncos (vs. Bills)
Williams had his best game of the season before the bye week and now fully appears to be in control of this backfield. The Bills have allowed about 14 points to the running back in each of the last six games. I’m looking forward to a Williams smash week.

👎 RB Zack Moss, Colts (vs. Patriots)
Welcome back to the Jonathan Taylor Show. In the past few weeks, Moss’ share of this backfield has been decreasing. We’re at the point with starting Moss that we’re hoping for a TD, because without it he’s not worth a start. That’s not where I like to be with starting an RB.

💥 WR Tyler Lockett, Seahawks (vs. Commanders)
The Commanders are allowing the second-most PPR fantasy points to WRs and the Seahawks are desperately looking for a bounce-back offensively after being shut down by the Ravens last week.

👎 WR Amari Cooper, Browns (vs. Ravens)
The Ravens have allowed a TD to just three WRs this season and are on a roll as a defense these past few weeks. This Ravens defense is allowing the sixth-least fantasy points to WRs this season and I don’t expect Cooper to the be one that breaks through.

Thank you for tuning in, let’s get a W this week 🫡
